1. Because January will be almost over by the time it goes out.
2. There will be no mention of 🎃 or 🎄 for at least another six months. (Bliss.)
3. The evenings are already getting stretchy.
4. And nobody has yet lost the hope that we'll have a proper summer this year. (We don't know about your Child of Prague, but ours has never worked. Do we need to put batteries in it or something?)

5. You can treat yourself again without any guilt that just because it's January you can't let a lick of cake pass your lips. (Who started this? We'd like a word.)
