Cakes, Communions, Confirmations, Cats and Dogs

Cakes, Communions, Confirmations, Cats and Dogs

Summer starts next week and our marketing consultants said we should mention that.

They said, "Lead with a picture of summer."

We said, "What's that got to do with selling cakes?"

"Never you mind," they said. "And put a dog in it. You can't go wrong with a dog on an Irish summer's day."

All right, then:

But apparently, that's not what they meant. They said we wouldn't sell any cupcakes with that picture.

"No. Put the dog outside. Put it in a pool to give it that summer vibe!" they said.

OK, then:

At this point, things got a little tense and we got this message back:

"A swimming pool! Put the dog by a swimming pool. It doesn't even have to be a dog. Any cute animal will do. Just put some cute animals by a swimming pool," they said.

They said we'd sell a lot of traybake cakes that way.

"OK," we said.

"Swimming pool. Cute animals. Understood?" they said.

Loud and clear:

Our marketing consultants aren't speaking to us anymore.

But if they are right, you are now in the mood to buy a cake. So here is a link: CAKES!

Communions and Confirmations

Our marketing consultants also said we should promote our Communion and Confirmation cakes one last time.

They didn't say what animal we should use, so we'll just show you the cakes:

Two communion cakes. One decorated in blues the other decorated in pinks.

Enjoy the BiteSize Coffee Experience at Home

Given what Irish summers are like most of the time, you might think, "I'd love a BiteSize coffee, but it's raining cats and dogs outside, so I'm not going out."

"Imagine if I got hit by a dog. That would really hurt.

"Unless it was a Chihuahua.

"Is that even a dog? Surely there's a size requirement?

"Still, I might get a Chihuahua right in the eye, so I'll stay in. I wish I could enjoy BiteSize coffee at home."

Well, we have good news for you. You can enjoy BiteSize coffee in the safety of your own home. We've launched our own coffee range, starting with a medium roast blend of Colombian and Brazilian arabica beans.

So avoid being hit in the eye by a falling Chihuahua and order a 700g bag of beans today.

Warning: click and collect only for now. So if the skies are thick with dogs, we recommend you send someone else to collect your coffee beans. Stay safe.
