We get up at 4am every morning. It’s horrible. Seriously horrible.

Want to know why we get up at 4am every morning?

It’s because we really care.

We want you to have the most tantalising cakes and treats you’ve ever had.

So, since 2006, we’ve been getting up stupidly early to bake all of our tarts and cakes ourselves. That way, we know you’re getting food that’s made by skilled bakers rather than cold machines. (Okay—we use an oven and a mixer, but that’s about it.)

And you’d actually recognise our ingredients. Fresh eggs, real butter, great fruit, good-quality chocolate… proper food.

We’re fussy about the coffee we serve in our Midleton café, too. Our baristas are the real deal. We had to buy them a ridiculously expensive La Marzocco coffee/espresso machine from Florence in Italy to keep them happy.

We don’t scrimp on the coffee either. We get our beans from Cork Coffee Roasters. Trust us: they’re good.

We also bake cakes to order. For weddings, birthdays, anniversaries… any occasion, really. There’s always a reason for a top-notch, handmade cake. Our cake maker is so good, we keep her swaddled in cotton wool when she’s not working—or at least we would if she let us.

Come and treat yourself in our café or visit our stands at Mahon Point Farmers Market on Thursday mornings and Midleton Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.
